Additionally, the model weights and image transformations provided in this repository are not correct. This harms the reproducibility of the original work and can be misleading for researchers who wish to apply the model to their own datasets.

I created this repo a little while ago so I don't quite remember all the details, but I think the weights should match.
They are simplify formatted to work with the timm library, so the difference should only be some key names changes.
(iirc I also did a simple check to see the logits were the same between the two implementation, for the same random input, ngl though I don't remember if the image transformations are correct).
Let's be real though, will any serious researcher download some weights from some random dude on hugging face ?
Most probably not, they should clone your repo and use your instructions (which I link to in the README).
